The Garden is open daily from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. including all holidays except for December 25th.
Our general admission day tickets are open-ended and not date or time specific. You’re welcome to visit on any day or time.
You may use your general admission tickets to enjoy events such as Jurassic Garden, Mango Days of Summer, Ramble, Chocolate and Orchid Festivals, plant sales, and holiday celebrations during regular Garden hours. *Other fees may apply if there is a special activation within the event.
Our box office is open daily. You can purchase tickets in person if you prefer.
Parking at the Garden is free of charge. Please park at the Main Visitor Entrance. The South Entrance is reserved for staff only.
The Garden is 83 acres with 2.1 miles of walking pavement. In order to experience the entire Garden and exhibits, you will need about 2.5 hours.
We offer free tram tours of the Garden on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tours are weather permitting. Schedules vary. Please check our tram tour schedule upon arrival.

The Glasshouse Café is open daily from 10:30a.m. – 4:00p.m. No reservations are required and indoor and outdoor seating is available. The Shop at Fairchild has snacks and sundries available or if you prefer, you can bring food with you, however rolling coolers are not allowed.

Fairchild is fully accessible for individuals with disabilities. Our pathways, exhibits and collections are accessible; many of our doors have automatic opening devices; our buildings have ADA-compliant restroom facilities; our trams accommodate wheelchairs and have assistive listening devices; we provide shuttle service for individuals needing additional assistance during their visit throughout the Garden; and much more. It is our intention to make Fairchild a fully enjoyable experience for all of our guests without exception.
Discounts (other than online promos) are applied in person on the day of your visit. You may be required to present an identification. If you have other discounts that you would like applied, please purchase your tickets in person.
We participate in Culture Shock Miami, which offers discounted tickets to Fairchild for participating students between the ages 13-22.
On the first Wednesday of each month, Miami-Dade County senior residents ages 62 and over with a Golden Ticket will receive one free admission to Fairchild. Please present your completed Golden Ticket form at the entrance.
If you’ve enjoyed your visit to the Garden, we will happily apply the price of your admission toward a membership on the day of your visit. Individuals planning on visiting Fairchild with a reciprocal membership card from a participating organization 90 miles outside of Fairchild, please present the membership card upon arrival. Individuals within 90 miles of Fairchild may not be eligible. We encourage you to contact your participating member organization to determine eligibility.

This season we have a dynamic balance of online and in-person classes that will offer techniques, demonstrations, and hands-on experiences. CLICK HERE for a full list of upcoming classes.
No. Simply enter the quantity of the tickets you would like to purchase, and complete the registration form. The registration form enables us to contact you with supplies lists, syllabi, or any updates to the class. Then, you will be prompted to enter your payment information. After your payment has been confirmed, you will be automatically enrolled in the class and you will receive a confirmation email shortly thereafter.
We recommend reserving your spot through the website or over the phone in advance because we cannot always guarantee availability. Sometimes, we can accommodate one or two extra people in a sold-out class, but some classes have supply budgets and therefore a limited capacity.

Growing Beyond Earth (GBE) is a classroom-based citizen science project operated in partnership with NASA. It includes a series of plant experiments conducted by students using equipment similar to the Vegetable Production System (Veggie) on the International Space Station.
